Introduction to Church Health and Natural Church Development
Most pastors and church leaders want to lead their churches to be healthy and vibrant and impact their community but often they do not know where to begin. Ministry presents many challenges and opportuniteis, so how does a leader make the best choice to advance the health of their church?
New Church Specialties has designed a one day seminar for pastors and church leaders that will provide an overview of Church Health. The focus is on understanding Church Health, the importance of knowing your current reality and using the Natural Church Development Church Health survey.
The focus of the workshop will include:
- Looking at the accuracy of the report from the 12 years of research and over 55,000 churches who have taken the survey in over 70 countries.
- An overview of the eight characteristics -- Inspiring Worship; Effective Structures, Holistic Small Groups, Passionate Spirituality, Empowering Leadership, Need-oriented Evangelism; Loving Relationships and Gift-based Ministry.
- Understanding the process of taking the survey and an overview of the results.
- An introduction to the Insights Report.
- The importance of establishing an implementation team and working with a coach to address the findings of the church health survey.
