ReFocus and Church Health
For the past nine years New Church Specialties has worked with over 2,000 churches in over 80 districts/judicatories to provide tools for pastors and church leaders to effectively "recapture the heart of Jesus for HIS church."
The Refocus process is four fold:
- Assessment -- Know your beginning point
- Spiritual Renewal -- Know what God has in mind for your church
- Planning -- Putting together a quality action plan
- Implementation -- Building accountability into your system
Church Health informs and provides support for each of these areas. In the area of assessment, church health provides a clear picture of current reality identifying both strengths and areas of needed growth for the church. In the area of renewal, church health helps a church focus on some of the important issues of core values. In the area of planning, church health helps a church identify priorities and first next steps. In the area of implementation, church health provides a tool to measure progress and effectiveness of the action plan.
